WANTED-Ideas

I need some help learning some ways to memorize a whole play in Italian. I have the page on what I need to memorize, but it's so long that I don't know how to memorize it all. I need to know it by November 17/18. I've been just reading it out loud to myself and to my family to get used to the idea of reciting it to my teacher. I started writing it out and memorizing half of it at a time but nothing seems to sink in. Any suggestions would be greatly accepted.
As most of you all know, my father is very ill. So far, I have helped make the Steelers blanket, I helped make a pillow case with his favorite animal, the deer, on it. Currently, I'm going to make him a sketch of a "Forgotten Ford." But I feel that I could make him something else. What should I make him? I feel that I have made him everything I could make him. I even made him a get well card. Anything that is not too expensive will do. Thanks for ideas!!

This is how I used to memorize sections of plays, like soliloquies (sp?) from Shakespeare plays, etc. First, memorize the first line, then say that line followed by the second one till you have the second line memorized, then add on the third, still saying the first and second line, etc. Make sense?
You are good at memorization, it's just the foreign language thing that is throwing you off... take it one line at a time and don't move on to the next one till you have each line down!!
Suggestions for gifts for your dad... I think the Old Ford pencil sketch will be great for him. Do you remember in CA he was restoring a 53 Ford pickup?
I think another flannel pillowcase would be nice, this time a Christmas one. You know how he loves Christmas and I don't think now is too soon!!! I have a coupon for Hancock's!! ♥ love ya!!!
I am not too good at memorizing things...but perhaps singing a line at a time is possible...
I just came over to send you some hugs as I read about your dad. My heart was deeply saddened to read this and as a mom, I just thought I would let you know that many people-all over the world are praying for you and your family and thinking of your family. Your mom has shared so much about you and your siblings, that I feel close to you.
Cry and laugh and smile and be sad-all are okay emotions. Take care and remember how many care very much for you all.
